This policy explains what personal information Web Development Experts (ABN 63 681 717 573) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are based in Melbourne, Victoria, and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site or contact us, we collect the details you give us. That is usually your name, email address, phone number, business name and whatever you write in your message.

When you browse the site, some information is collected automatically: pages visited, time on each page, the browser and device you use, an approximate location based on your IP address, and how you reached us (for example, from a search engine).

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and deliver the work you engage us for.
  • To send project updates, invoices and support messages.
  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information when we need to in order to do the job, for example with our hosting, email and software providers, or when the law requires it. Anyone we share it with is expected to protect it.

Information is stored on secure, password-protected systems, and the site runs over HTTPS. We keep enquiry and project records only as long as we need them for business, tax and legal reasons.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@webdevelopmentexperts.com.au and we will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, email us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
